We had a wild ride a few days ago on the White Nile in Uganda. According to the guide books, this is the best white water rafting in the world. During the one day rafting session, you hit 4 class 5 rapids. The highest possible rating for a rapid is a 6 and those are un-runable, so these rapids were HUGE!!!
Our group decided we were going to attempt everything so that put us into the 'wild' category. Our guide dumped us in 2 class 3s and managed to keep us afloat in the class 5s but I'm not sure how he did it. There was a LOT of screaming going on.
One of the best parts of the entire day was relaxing afterwards with a Nile Special while taking in the scenery of the White Nile, which is the starting point of the Nile.
Well, we are back in Nairobi for the 3rd time and getting set to go down into Tanzania.
